Yesterday I were at the Nordic Wellness Arena and felt very lost. I have started exercising my body because I want to feel strong and healthy. 😄 During the past year, I’ve moved very little because I have had a frozen left shoulder. Have had it for 1 year, but now I start getting so much better. It’s a bit left before my arm is going to work well but my muscles are on way back and mobility is increasing all the time. As I told before, I have not been exercising so much for the last 30 years 🤤
Lovely spring is coming, we had lunch outside today. A little cold, but with a jacket on and sheepskin under my butt it was really nice, the sun was shining. We ate the leftovers from yesterday, I promised to share recipes, I cooked a good meatstew and ate some mixed salad, red cabbage, ruccola, red onion, celery, avocado and our home-made sauerkraut. The first photo on the plate is from yesterday, below photo from today’s lunch.
Do you meditate?
I aim to meditate or listen to relaxation tapes every day. I have attended several mindfulness courses and try to be aware in my daily life in the present moment, not always easy, but practise makes perfect. Shared with you an app on Instastories today, and got the question what I’m using. I use a variety of apps, see link below.
Can you recommend some meditation?
Made an anti-inflammatory soup and it became very tasty, a lot of garlic, fresh turmeric and ginger, all these spices are anti-inflammatory. Cooked it together with healthy vegetables, such as Jerusalem artichoke that is rich of inulin which gives good prebiotics for your gut bacteria. Very good to eat after a walk in the cold weather.
Are you fasting sometimes?
If you are fasting witch kind of fasting do you do?
In the picture, good vegetables and meat stew may not be the most suitable picture if you are fasting. But I could not put an image on the bone broth, it would be a picture with too little color and patterns so it had to be food that I ate yesterday. Two days ago before we started our 3 day fast 2 days of homemade bone broth and today 24-36 hour dry fast will see how it feels tonight the target is 36 hours. So far it has been easy this is the third time I fast first time I fasted on green juice 7 days it was quite alright. This summer I fasted on water / tea for 7 days it was tougher. So when we decided 3 days this time, it felt easier 2 days on the bone broth has been easy, today no drinking at all feels like a challenge. We fast for the body to be able to repair itself and bone broth should be healing for the intestines too. I share some links on fasting and recipe for the stew.

We are planning to build a tiny house on our back yard, I will have it as a studio but we are preparing for kitchen and toilet so that we can live there later. Both me and my husband are artists, which can be financially difficult sometimes, we both have other part-time jobs that we enjoy, but we think that when our children move in a few years (3-4years maybe 😄) we will move out to the tiny house. Our house has 5 rooms and a large living room so we think we will have the living room as a studio and build a door to the rest of the house, and rent rooms to students. Then we may not have to keep our other jobs. Live cheap and get some extra income. The most important thing for us is that we want free time to work with what we want. What do I want to do then?
Last weekend was a nice weekend in many ways my husband Kimmo had a exhibition opening on Saturday and in the evening our friends came to a party. We usually organize a charity party, we make soup and sell it and also sell drinks, combining pleasure with usefulness. We give the money to a school Jennifer school located in the slum of Dhaka Bangladesh. This time we raised 200 euro and it is enough for 2000 small meals for the children in the school 🙏
On Sunday, I and my lovely friend ❤ Maria made a good soup for lunch with anti-inflammatory spices. In the afternoon I was at my first meeting with an Influencer workshop Gothenburg, fun and I look forward to more meetings with them, those who run the workshop is Johanna https://enklaknep.se/ and Siranee https://thaimorsan.se/ I will telling more about it later.
Have a nice weekend 🙌

I’ve started exercise with a PT, It feels amazing 😄 During the past year, I’ve been exercising extremely little because I have a frozen shoulder. But if I’m honest, I’ve not been exercising so much for the last 30 years. 🤤 So it’s time to start now. In 2016 I did a little try but then my shoulder started to hurt. Have tried to get started excercising a few more times over the years but never hade the pleasure and routine. Have worked much to improve my health for the past 2 years, changed diet dropped nearly 20 kg and reached my goal weight and has meditated and exercised mindfulness. But now it’s time to take the excercising to a new level. My PT Emelie sets the bar at just the right degree to challenge my balance, strength and pain and makes me feel good 😄
Is color on food important to you?
Color is an important ingredient in my eating. I look a lot at my food and I am very happy when it’s strong and beautiful colors 💚 So color is very important to me, but also taste and nutrition the food has. I like to eat organic vegetables growing abow earth as much as possible, because I want as stable blood sugar as possible. Of vegetables I eat a lot of cabbage both because it is useful, cheap and local farmed. Fat I eat most coconutoil, avocado and olives and what protein i eat it has changed the last time. For the past 16 years I have eaten beans and fish, a year ago I started eating organic chicken and a month ago organic meat, maybe you wonder why? I have been very tired for the last 2 1/2 years, thought that I was little burned out after a long period of work I had and it has probably been true, but 1 1/2 years ago I had a test of my tyroid and TSH value is hight and I have low metabolism. I have been struggling and thinking that I will fix it with meditation, dietary supplements and diet. But did not get any improvement. Have read a lot and come to the conclusion that I want to try to eat meat. The thyroid needs to work optimally, has also had a lot of iron deficiency. So since 1 month back, I eat a little grass fed beef and drink bone broth , feeling a bit stronger. We will see what it does with my health. In January, I eat AIP diet (Autoimmune paleo) to reduce inflammation in the body.
Today I ate meatballs made from meat from green farms that have gras fed organic meat to the pink cauliflower and our homemade sauerkraut that is very good, sauerkraut made from red cabbage I think it. is better, think it’s the color that makes it 🙌
Wish you a fantastic New year 🎉❤️
Jag är tacksam för året som gått och ser fram emot
I am thankful for the year that has gone and looks forward to 2018, a year when I take my health to a new level. A year when I am stronger and more energized both mentally and physically 🙌
